System requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or later
  • Apple silicon or Intel Mac
  • git. If it isn't installed yet, macOS offers to install the Command Line Tools the first time it's needed. Homebrew's git is used when it's present.
  • A GitHub account is optional. Everything except account switching works with any git remote.

Install and get started

  1. Open the download

    Open the downloaded file and drag Boughwright into your Applications folder.

  2. Add your code folder

    Choose the folder where you keep projects. Boughwright lists every repository inside it.

  3. Connect your GitHub accounts

    Sign in with the browser or paste an access token for each account you use.

  4. Commit and push

    Pick a repository, check the account above the Commit button, and you're done.
